Paula and Rex Stacy, the creators of “The Teeniest Tiny Tiger,” are a warm, dedicated couple from Seneca, Illinois, married since 2001. As first-time authors, they crafted this beloved children’s book inspired by a tender moment with their grandson Zackary, who was soothed by Paula’s storytelling one evening. With six children, twelve grandchildren, and one grandson-in-law, their family is at the core of their lives and work. Since 1968, they’ve been active Jehovah’s Witnesses ministers in Ottawa, Illinois, devoting time to their faith and community. They also volunteer with the Local Design Committee, aiding in construction and disaster relief for Kingdom Halls. The book, a labor of love, was brought to life with help from illustrator Sarah Reyes and translator Juan Carlos Díaz, reflecting their close-knit circle of friends and family. The story’s bilingual format and heartfelt narrative have reached many children and classrooms, spreading joy and lessons of courage. Paula and Rex invite readers to connect at paulastacy2022@gmail.com, eager to share their journey. Their commitment to faith, family, and storytelling makes this book a treasure for young hearts and families everywhere.
